Step 1: Obtain Your Treaty Status

The first and most crucial step towards becoming a Band Member of Sucker Creek First Nation is obtaining your Treaty status. Your Treaty status is a recognition of your rights and heritage under the historic treaties between Indigenous peoples and the Crown. If you have not yet obtained your Treaty status, we encourage you to do so through the appropriate governmental channels.

A copy of your Treaty Card
Your Birth Certificate
These documents are essential for us to verify your Treaty Status information and to proceed with your application.
