The Sucker Creek First Nation (SCFN) Education Department Post Secondary Education Program (PSEP) acts as a support system, financial and academic, on behalf of the SCFN for the Membership of SCFN. By administering the monies received through the Post Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP) by the Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) for academic programs that are at least 8 months in length, or longer, consecutively, within post-secondary institutions that hold transfer agreements with other post-secondary institutions. We also offer support in areas of academic planning, career planning, course scheduling, fiscal responsibility, and guidance regarding outside support programs while a student is receiving support through the SCFN PSEP.
With 2 intake periods, one for programs starting September, the other for programs that may start in January, the SCFN PSEP can offer support, within yearly budgets through the monies received by the PSSSP to assist the SCFN Membership looking to pursue further academic endeavors. If there are any questions about the SCFN Education Department PSEP, please reach out the SCFN Education Department, and we will be happy to assist you further. Ekso Maka. Hiy Hiy.
